Cloud & Hosting

Infrastructure that stays up, stays patched, and stays affordable.

What is cloud & hosting?

Cloud hosting is the practice of running websites and applications on managed infrastructure provided by a cloud platform rather than on a single physical server. Managed hosting adds a team that handles the deployment, security patching, backups, scaling, and monitoring on your behalf.

We run EasyWork Hosting, our own hosting platform, alongside client deployments on AWS, Firebase, and Windows Server. Hosting choices are made on your actual traffic and compliance needs, not on the largest plan we could sell.

What our cloud & hosting service covers

  • AWS, Firebase, and Windows Server / IIS environment setup
  • Managed shared, VPS, and dedicated hosting through EasyWork Hosting
  • CI/CD deployment pipelines so releases are repeatable and reversible
  • SSL certificates, HTTPS enforcement, HSTS, and security headers
  • Automated backups with tested restores — not just backups that exist
  • Uptime, error, and performance monitoring with alerting

What you receive

  • A documented environment: staging and production, with access controls
  • Deployment pipeline that any developer on your team can run
  • Backup schedule with a documented and tested restore procedure
  • Monitoring dashboard and alert routing to your team
  • A runbook covering common incidents and how to respond

Our cloud & hosting process

  1. 01

    Requirements

Expected traffic, data residency, compliance needs, and budget determine the platform — in that order.

  2. 02

    Architecture

A written plan covering environments, network, database, storage, and cost estimate before anything is provisioned.

  3. 03

    Provisioning

Infrastructure is created with least-privilege access and documented credentials.

  4. 04

    Pipeline

Automated build, test, and deploy so releases do not depend on one person remembering the steps.

  5. 05

    Hardening

SSL, security headers, firewall rules, patched OS and runtime, and backup verification.

  6. 06

    Monitoring

Uptime, error rate, and Core Web Vitals monitoring with alerts routed to a channel you watch.

What we build cloud & hosting with

  • AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront)
  • Firebase
  • Windows Server
  • IIS
  • Nginx
  • Docker
  • GitHub Actions
  • Cloudflare
  • Let's Encrypt

Who this is a good fit for

  • Businesses whose site has gone down and nobody knew until a customer called
  • Teams deploying by copying files onto a server by hand
  • Applications outgrowing shared hosting and needing a real environment
  • Companies with no tested backup — which is most companies

Cloud & Hosting questions

AWS, or managed hosting — which should we choose?

AWS makes sense when you need to scale, have compliance requirements, or run a substantial application, and when someone will own the configuration. Managed hosting makes sense when you want a fixed monthly cost and no infrastructure responsibility. Cost alone rarely settles it — the deciding factor is who maintains it.

Do you provide SSL certificates?

Yes. Every site we deploy gets HTTPS with automatic certificate renewal via Let's Encrypt, HTTPS enforcement, and HSTS. There is no separate charge for SSL.

How often are backups taken and are they tested?

Daily automated backups are standard, with retention agreed per project. More importantly, we test the restore process — an untested backup is not a backup, and restore failures are usually discovered at the worst possible time.

Can you migrate our existing site without downtime?

In most cases, yes. We stage the site on the new environment, verify it fully, lower the DNS time-to-live in advance, and cut over during a quiet window. Downtime is typically seconds rather than hours.

What is your uptime and response commitment?

Uptime targets and response times are set in the hosting or support agreement rather than quoted in the abstract, because they depend on the plan and the architecture. We would rather commit to a number we can meet for your specific setup.
